Vicarage Gate House

An exclusive development of three, four and five bedroom apartments with ground and lower ground duplex’s complete with sunken light wells.

Our work: A CDP contract to design, supply and install the windows, doors and punch windows with extensive architectural aluminium flashings.

The solution: A combination of the Mira and Lara systems from Gutmann incorporated into a design which included statement internal oak timbers.

The size and quantity of the internal timbers (generally 350mm x 100mm) led to a unique design developed by Pacegrade using a composite solution with laminated spruce at its core, surrounded by a 6mm oak veneer. This enabled Pacegrade to reduce weight and cost whilst providing a consistent defect free surface.

The bespoke nature of the project required full CWCT testing including Part B which was added to Pacegrade’s scope.
